Creative Outreach Ministries
Having experienced the challenges of life at a young age, Creative Outreach's founder Dottie Compton is living proof of the power of hope. Her transformed life into a successful wife, mother and businesswoman serves as the heartbeat of a mission to change thousands of lives with hope, support and resources. Dottie is an Ordained Minister, a Board Certified Belief Therapist and a Certified Christian Marriage and Family Therapist.
In 1988, Dottie's passion for helping people became action as she and her family began providing assistance to those in need with extra groceries and blankets from the family's home. Ten years of serving the needs of others culminated into what became in 1998, Creative Outreach Ministries.
With a heart for evangelism Dottie spent many hours on the streets ministering to the needs of those caught in the prison of drugs, alcohol, and prostitution. In 2004, realizing that many women sincerely wanted a "New Life" but had no place to go; New Life Women's Center was born.
Dottie has also traveled extensively to Kenya and Uganda ministering to people around the world. Creative Outreach Ministries has helped to support and build churches in Africa, funded a publishing company in Bulgaria and supports feeding programs for children in both areas. Her desire to see "changed lives" is evident at home and abroad.
