Do You Know Jesus
Meet Jesus
- For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
- For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 11:10
Believe Jesus
- The Bible says that Jesus Christ is "the way, the truth, and the life". John 14:5
- The Bible says "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness". 1 John 1:9
- The Bible says God "is patient, not wanting any to perish, but everyone to come to repentance". 2 Peter 3:9
- The Bible says that all scripture is "God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (right standing with God). 2 Timothy 3:16
- The Bible says that every believer in Christ is the "temple of the Holy Spirit". 1 Corinthians 6:19
- The Bible says "hope deferred, makes the heart sick, but when dreams come true, there is life and joy". Proverbs 13:12
- The Bible says God knows the plans he has for all of us and "they are plans for good and not evil, to give us a future and a hope". Jeremiah 29:11
Obey Jesus
- Find a local church and fellowship with its members. Make a public profession of your new found faith.
- Learn to study the Bible with the help of mature Christians.
- Learn to pray with your church and ministry leaders.
- In the New Testament we are warned to "not forsake the assembling of ourselves together", Heb.10:25. Stay committed to God in a Bible believing church.
