Admittance Requirements
- Applicants accepted are those committed to dealing with core issues
- Applicants must be 17 years or older
- 12-18 month commitment
- Applicants must be clean and sober for 30 days prior to entrance
- Full physical (at applicant's expense) before entrance, physical must include the following: Drug Test, Hepatitis, HIV/aids, TB, Pregnancy, and STDs.
- Under certain conditions, a psych evaluation may be required before entry
- We screen out current, ongoing substance abusers, mental illnesses, and serious criminal histories
- Non-refundable application fee: $50.00
Communication Guidelines
- No outside communication for the first 30 days
- Mail in and out starts on the 30th day to approved immediate family on communication list only
- New Life staff filters all incoming and outgoing mail
- Weekend following your 60th day, students are allowed to make (1) outgoing call on Saturday and receive (1) incoming call on Sunday during designated times to approved immediate family members on communication list only
- Weekend after 90 days approved family members may visit on Sundays for 1 hour
- Weekend passes will be granted under certain conditions after (180) One Hundred Eighty days
